Sorry, but we do do not treat dogs or cats. We also do not treat horses, cows, or other farm animals. We do however treat mini-pigs and pot-bellied pigs.

No, we are a fully mobile veterinary practice. We also offer virtual telehealth appointments.

No, we are not equipped to hospitalize or transport your pet. In many cases we can set you up to have your pet recover from a procedure, treatment, illness, or injury in the comfort of your home and theirs. If your pet requires hospitalization, we will recommend a facility that is equipped for that care.

All we require is a bit of space in your house for two people and a folding table and an electrical outlet. We can set up in any type of room in your home including but not limited to living rooms, bedrooms, kitchens, dining rooms, mud rooms & entryways, garages, basements, and even outdoors (weather permitting).

Yes Exotic Pet Mobile Vet carries all professional licenses and insurances.

Yes, we are able to prescribe medications and we carry many medications with us. Once we have seen your pet with an in-home appointment, we are then also able to prescribe medications via Telehealth Appointments.

Yes, we are experienced with the dietary and environmental needs of your pet. We’ll be able to recommend everything your pet will need to be healthy including diet, water, habitat, lighting, humidity, enrichment, etc. Some species have more simple husbandry and we can cover this during a regular appointment, but some species (reptiles etc) will require a full husbandry consultation. If you’re unsure of the care of your exotic pet, book an exam and husbandry consultation today!

We try to respond within 48 hours. If it is an emergency, please contact your nearest emergency or urgent care animal hospital or clinic.

Appointment costs include:
– $80 mobile fee
– Extended service range fee ($2 per mile past 50 road miles traveled by EPMV from Brimfield, MA
– $95 Exam Fee
– Plus the cost of any diagnostics, medication, procedures, treatments, and husbandry consultations

Our mobile practice is not set up for emergencies or urgent care; your best option is to contact your nearest emergency animal hospital or clinic. You are welcome to contact us to see if we have day of or near-term availability, but we often will not be able to assist you on short notice. We also may not be equipped to deliver the emergency care or hospitalization your pet requires in those situations.
